O que é Coffee Break Coffee break é uma expressão em inglês que significa "pausa para café", que muitas vezes é um intervalo no meio de uma reunião onde as pessoas fazem um lanche e convivem. É o nome dado para uma pausa que ocorre no meio de uma reunião, palestra, conferência, seminário, congresso, etc. Durante o coffee break, normalmente os participantes não tomam só café, e o cardápio pode ser muito variado. Frequentemente são servidos pães, biscoitos, mini-croissants, sanduíches, cafés, chás, frutas, sucos, salgadinhos, doces, etc. Existem várias empresas de catering e de bufê que são especializadas na organização de coffee breaks, que podem ser simples ou mais elaborados. O objetivo do coffee break não é apenas comer, e sim que os elementos integrantes possam socializar, relaxar, voltando para a reunião com mais disposição e concentração. Many like to involve their attendees as much as possible.. “At Caesars Entertainment, properties have had success with bringing the kitchen into the function room. Team building is taken to new heights as the attendees participate in different parts of the meal process - from the salad course to desserts,” says Michele Polci, Director of Citywide Catering Sales, Caesars, Las Vegas. Attendees can also participate in their breakfast at The Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, California. Their "Make Your Own Pancakes" activity station provides hot flapjacks off the griddle for each guest to sprinkle, dollop or drizzle with a variety of sweet and savory toppings.
